More Christmas Tags with a Feminine Twist…

The days go by quickly….didn’t have time to post yesterday to so I’m back today!

Another favorite! I love this little deer from Tim Holtz' Reindeer Flight die. We covered the deer with several coats of Coffee Shop Glitter Mist - you can't tell in the photo but he is very shimmery. The foliage is from the Tim Holtz Festive Greenery die, and the banner is the Tim Holtz Tattered Banners die. We stamped snowflakes on the tag with Distress Ink Spun Sugar ink pad and embossed with a holographic embossing powder and then applied Distress Ink Shabby Shutters with a sponge applicator over the embossed snowflakes (also added more holographic embossing powder) and then edged the tag with Distress Ink Vintage Photo. A Tim Holtz Baubles pearl died with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and a bow finished the little deer.

The tag on Ellen's site was a lamp post from a Tim Holtz die. We didn't have that die so we decided to to a birdhouse. We just cut the post and house from cardstock and patterned paper and the roof is corrugated with snow on top. A little snowflake in the center and a tiny bird resting on some foliage completes the little house. More snow on the bottom of the tag with some silver german scrap and silver tinsel garland with a red bow on top makes this a festive tag!

This was an easy tag with big impact. The santa stamp is from Tim Holtz' Santa's Wish stamp set - colored with markers and stamped toward the bottom of the tag. A flower made from three flowers cut from Tim Holtz' Tattered Flowers die at the top resembles a poinsettia and a jingle bell was tied on with some gold cord. Green trim at the bottom completes the tag.

Jay and I will be going to North Carolina for the weekend so I’ll post the rest of the tags next week!
